Sometimes a sick patient needs a physician but, more often than not, what they really need is a pastor! That’s why Healing Grove has a Spanish speaking church in San Jose and a Farsi speaking church in Sacramento for Afghans. Our physicians know that modern medicine might make a patient better, but only Jesus will make a patient WELL.

Sacramento

Sacramento Farsi Ministry is led by Pastors Ailin and Arash Lovyn. By God’s grace, Pastor Arash and team have baptized people from Muslim backgrounds who repented and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!

  • Mission: Sacramento Farsi Ministry operates in response to the love and teachings of Jesus Christ to serve Farsi-speaking immigrants and refugees, upholding human dignity and supporting them toward healing, empowerment, and healthy integration into both community and faith life.
  • Vision: A community of Farsi-speaking immigrants and refugees who grow in hope, healthy identity, and responsibility, becoming active, contributing and service-oriented members of society and the Body of Christ.
  • Extra fun-fact: The church made 40 new Christian songs mostly in Farsi – some English, some Latin, some Armenian
